Introduction
The Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) is the professional society devoted exclusively to cardiovascular CT. SCCT is acknowledged and recognized as the representative and advocate for research, education, and clinical excellence in the use of cardiovascular computed tomography. SCCT China-IRC (International Regional Committee), established on Feb 26, 2013, are committees set up to promote cardiovascular CT and the objectives of SCCT in China.
The Chair of SCCT China-IRC is Dr. Li Yang, Professor and Director of the Department of Radiology, General Hospital of People Liberty Army of China, Beijing. The Co-Chair is Dr. Bin Lu, Professor and Director of the Department of Radiologic Imaging, Fuwai Hospital, Peking Union Medical College & Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, National Center of Cardiovascular Diseases; Beijing.
The fourth SCCT CHINA IRC meeting of 2016 will be held on October 28 to 30, 2016 in Beijing. The first SCCT CHINA IRC meeting was held on November 1 to 3, 2013 in Beijing, the second meeting of 2014 was held on October 31 to November 2, 2014 in Shanghai, and the third meeting of 1015 was held on October 30 to November 1, 2015 in Beijing again.
